Nolichucky River
The Nolichucky River starts from a number of smaller creeks just north of Spruce Pine, North Carolina. The river then sweeps through Bakersville, NC and Green Mountain down into Mitchell County and finally through the gorge heading towards Tennessee.
Our guides are experienced on all of the smallmouth fishing sections of the Nolichucky and know exactly where to fish and when to fish each section. Our smallmouth fishing trips extend from North Carolina all the way to Tennessee.
Most of our guided trips on the Nolichuky river are held in Tennessee or North Carolina. There are numerous sections on this river that have deep pools that have large concentrations of smallmouth. Deep pools provide smallmouth with ambush spots and slow moving current allowing them to stalk food.
